The dry friction and wear experiment of titanium alloy was carried out by using a pin-on-disk friction and wear testing machine, and the wear surface was observed and analyzed by metallographic microscope and scanning electron microscope. The experimental results show that there is a pre-grinding period in the friction process of titanium alloy; the friction coefficient of conventional annealed titanium alloy is slightly higher than that of strengthened heat-treated titanium alloy; the wear loss weight of strengthened heat-treated titanium alloy is less than that of conventional annealed titanium alloy It shows that the enhanced heat treatment can greatly improve the wear resistance of titanium alloys; the wear mechanism of conventional annealed titanium alloys is mainly adhesive wear, and the wear mechanism of enhanced heat treated titanium alloys is mainly abrasive wear.
Changes in the mechanical properties of A15 titanium alloy after β heat treatment and α+β two-phase zone heat treatment. The test results show that the tensile strength, plasticity and impact toughness of the lamellar structure obtained by β heat treatment are lower than those of the two-state structure obtained by two-phase zone heat treatment. , but the fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth rate of lamellar structure are better than those of bi-state structure; β heat treatment increases the difference between yield strength and tensile strength.
