Heat Treatment
TA15 (Ti-6Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V) titanium alloy thick-walled parts were prepared by laser rapid forming method, and the effects of different annealing temperatures on the microstructure and room temperature tensile mechanical properties of laser rapid forming TA15 titanium alloy were studied. The results show that with the increase of annealing temperature, the lath volume fraction of the primary α phase in the coarse β grain decreases, while the volume fraction of the β-transformation structure increases, and the morphology of the β-transition structure changes from lath-like (β) to lamellar (α+β)→Fine lamellar (α+β) transformation. The mechanical test results show that after the air-cooling heat treatment at 940 ℃/1 h, the tensile mechanical properties of the laser rapid forming TA15 titanium alloy at room temperature are optimal; however, when the annealing temperature is greater than or equal to 970 ℃, the tensile mechanical properties at room temperature are greatly reduced , Tensile fracture scanning electron microscope (SEM) photos show that room temperature tensile fracture is brittle fracture.
