Heat Treatment
UO method
The UO method is used to manufacture medium-sized elbows, tees and reducers. The plate is cut into a specially designed shape, first it is formed into a U shape using a die and then another die is used to shape it into an O shape or a tube, which is why the method is called the UO method.
Once the fitting is made into the tumbler shape, it is welded from the inside and outside of the closed seam. Large titanium elbows are welded from two separate plates. The prepared titanium elbows are also heat treated and machined before visual and dimensional inspection.
Thermoforming method
In the thermoforming mold bending method, the tube is heated to the forming temperature and formed in a mold with a specific shape, and this process can be repeated as needed to obtain the desired shape, size and wall thickness.
